Where does your information come from?
Metcheck information comes from a variety of hand picked locations. Our forecast data comes from NOAA in the USA and uses the most powerful weather model data available to date.

How often is your data updated?

Do you produce any free data?
We're afraid we don't. We hope to do this in the future, however due to bandwidth limitations we are restricted to the amount of free data which we can provide.

Are there concessions for educational establishments?
No. Our pricing structure ensures that our data is available at the lowest possible price. While we would love to reduce this further, it would make our pricing structure too unstable.

Why should I use Metcheck's data?
Metcheck's data is based on the worlds most powerful weather agency (NOAA). This means that data is of the highest standard, quality controlled and made available 24/7.

Can you FTP data to my website?
Of course. When you sign up you can decide whether you would like to collect the data yourself or have us FTP the data directly to your server. We store all information encrypted in our SQL server databases ensuring that your information cannot be seen by 3rd parties.

Do I need to display any logo on my website??
No, you don't have to. However, Metcheck are a well established UK forecasting agency and by displaying a "powered by Metcheck" image such as the one below will ensure your viewers know the data is being sourced from the best provider possible.


What if I don't have a credit card?
No problem. All you have to do is complete the signup process right up to the section you reach the Worldpay payment page. Once you reach there call Metcheck on +44 (0) 1392 21 42 43 and speak to a forecaster who will enable your feed and talk you through the possible payment options best suited to you.

Do you do corporate accounts?
Yes, many larger companies choose Metcheck for Intranet/Extranet and Internet data. For monthly payments over £100 we can invoice on a monthly basis, for payments below £100 a month we will require annual payment in advance.
